HELLO! I am no longer accepting resumes for this position as of December 5th! Please do not send me your resume! I will be in touch to update you on the status of your application but please be patient. I will start conducting interviews in the new year, so keep an eye on your email. Thank you to everyone that applied! Happy holidays! -Eve

I am keeping the original posting for posterity and that's it.

HALP
YES THIS PAGE LOOKS LIKE SHIT I'M IN A HURRY

Due to very stupid people doing very stupid things that were out of my control, I am in dire need of another set of hands to help me out with my job! Are you that person?! Maybe! INQUIRE WITHIN...

Job Description:
This job is best described as a "personal assistant." I am looking for someone who is dependable, motivated, kind, tech savvy, with an extremely flexible schedule. You will be working typically in the office alongside me, but you will also be on call outside of regular office hours. Heavy emphasis on "on call." You will be learning from and working alongside my other personal assistant, Vicky.

A large part of the job includes running tasks such as answering the phone, tending to emails, filing important documents, taking notes for me when I'm otherwise occupied, giving me your input on my work, other office/personal tasks and special projects requested by me.

You will also be required to travel domestically and internationally with me, for things like Blizzcon, Tokyo Game Show, Game Developer's Conference, Gamescom, and other various events around the world to help with general promotion of our games, or to promote me and my career, and to help with my charitable efforts. And of course deal with the members of the media who are looking for me for interviews and things of the like. This doesn't happen as often as it used to, but I would suggest to expect it so it won't come as a surprise when it eventually does happen.

It's a demanding job, but I am anything if not totally fair. I will make you work for your pay, but I will treat you very well and you are never to be taken for granted.

Requirements:
● Completion of High school or equivalent
● Knowledge of my body of work and what I do for a living
● General passion and interest in the games industry. Not to mention being a fan of our studio, our games, and the people who make them (yes this is a requirement)
● 10+ years of experience with computers of any kind, professional or as a hobby. Other operating systems not required, but it helps!
● A great sense of humour and a friendly, upbeat attitude
● Punctuality
● Strong skills with software such as Microsoft Office or equivalent, Discord, Microsoft Teams, and Slack
● Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
● Excellent communication and language skills
● Ability to manage and prioritize a busy workload
● Ability to work in an extremely fast-paced and high-energy work environment
● Ability to multitask and handle stress well
● Capacity to work independently, while also being a team player
● Modern smartphone

Nice To Have:
● Intermediate understanding of the Japanese language
● Knowledge of who/what I do my charity work with
● Laptop (not required, one will be given to you)
● Passport (this will become a requirement, however I will help with the process of getting one)

Salary:
$25 USD/hour with health benefits, and added bonuses for extraordinary performance and overtime

Expected Hours:
Typically around 9am to 5pm, however there will be guaranteed overtime.

Start Date:
As soon as possible

Location:
Ideally either in the Irvine or Santa Ana area. This is not a remote position but I'm willing to make an exception on both fronts if I find the perfect person.

If interested, please email your resume and cover letter to meanqueengreene@gmail.com with the subject line "Personal Assistant Job." Correspondence will be done only by email and through myself. If contacted for an interview, it will be done by phone, and please have 2-3 references handy. No correspondence through other members of Blizzard will be accepted. I'll know.

Notes:
1. Don't apply to this assuming you're gonna get a job at Blizzard. You will technically work there, but you'll be working for me. Save yourself the trouble if that's what you're after.

2. I have the right to refuse people as I see fit, just as you have the right not to apply if you realize we won't mesh well together. It's not discrimination, it's personal preference, and I'm allowed to do that.

3. Please do not send anything to my work email address as it is constantly backed up and will probably bounce back, so please consider this a warning. If for some reason your email does go through to that address, it will be ignored and will disqualify you.

4. This will be a very competitive position and I know lots of people are already interested, so if you don't hear from me for a while don't assume you were rejected. I will respond to your email whether or not I have decided to move forward with an interview. If you followed my basic instructions, that is. :)
